Massive Main Line Leak Means Water Damage for a Commercial Building

A Main Line leak could have meant devastation to a large commercial facility. Thankfully, with SERVPRO of Palm Desert, this is not a problem you will have to deal with. We pride ourselves on our excellent and efficient service when it comes to water damage. We are familiar with many kinds of leaks, so as soon as you notice something leaking in your building, be sure to give us a call. We promise to get to your business as soon as possible to stop the problem and remove the damage.

One Yucca Valley Commercial Building business manager called us recently with a water damage problem in her large commercial building. She noticed the damage when she opened the building to prepare for children coming in for the day. There was massive water damage all over the large 16,000 square foot building. Through a referral to our SERVPRO she called to ask for help with her situation.

As soon as the call came through, Randy Bernal, our Project Manager, left to the business. His initial inspection showed that 100 percent of the flooring had been affected. It was imperative that SERVPRO of Palm Desert get started with extraction and installation of drying equipment to begin the dry down process. When Randy got the business manager’s approval on the quote, he set up equipment to keep the damage from spreading and set the team of technicians to work to begin extracting the water.

This process of drying out a structure takes a team of production technicians working on flooring, checking the readings of wet walls and making sure all pictures area taken of the damaged area to be able to communicate with Insurance adjusters for the claim.

Our work was more than satisfactory to the business manager. It is very important to get that business back in order to allow them to continue to conduct their business with no more interruptions.
